not sure if the only or best way but i have the game and others like it in a folder and just unzip the new downloads there and use the new download to load up the game and it just has the saves then i delete the older files if the base ones arent overwritten automatically
And I'll just leave it out there, no matter what, I really hope you don't stop with the growth and the lactation, they have become a part of this lovely story~♡

can you go on a bit more about the size limit? as I understand using itch.io ’s own publishing tool ‘butler’ you can go up to 30GB (uncompressed)
